Challenging times

It's been a pretty smooth ride for Mark Dantonio at Michigan State until now. He took over in East Lansing when Michigan was down, which gave him a chance to get the Spartans' program established. He won a Cotton Bowl and a Rose Bowl, and beat Ohio State at OSU and in the Big Ten Championship game.

But now the landscape has shifted, with Jim Harbaugh at Michigan, and Urban Meyer rolling along at OSU.

And now Dantonio has some serious problems in his own program that has people asking questions about him for the first time.
