Yesterday, August 13th, was not only the hottest day of 2019 thus far, but it was also the first time Atlanta has hit triple degree temperatures since June 25, 2016! Tuesday in Atlanta the thermometer reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit, a record originally set on the same day back in 2007. Atlanta and much of North Georgia continue under a heat advisory with temperatures staying in the high 90's throughout the rest of the week.
No Alt 105.7 concerts on the bill for this weekend(the one time we say "thankfully") - everyone stay cool out there and stay HYDRATED!
