Man Sentenced to Three Years for Dying Wife's Meth Fueled "Death Party"

A Minnesota man who threw his dying wife a drug fueled party, was sentenced to three years in prison for the January incident.

Duane Johnson, 59, was initially given the charge of third degree murder but later agreed to plead guilty to the lesser charge of criminal neglect.

On the day of the incident, Johnson called 911 to report his wife's death and officers arrived on the scene to the words "Death Parde God Hell" spray painted in red on the screen door. A naked Johnson appeared screaming "My wife is dead" and that he needed to "wash this stuff off him". Officers found Debra Johnson's body wrapped in a white sheet at the top of the stairs. Johnson claimed that his wife begged him to die so he took her home from the nursing home she was previously staying in.
