Simple Creatures Share 'One Little Lie' Ahead Of Sophomore EP Release

Simple Creatures released their debut EP Strange Love a mere six months, but they're all about giving fans what they want (which is new music, duh) and are gearing up to release their sophomore EP Everything Opposite on Friday (October 11).

Ahead of the new collection of songs, Mark Hoppus and Alex Gaskarth gave fans another taste of what to expect with "One Little Lie" that sees Hoppus sing brooding verses while Gaskarth tries to convince himself "If I tell myself one little lie then I think that I’ll be alright/ I tell myself one little lie/ My head gets heavy every day like it’s filled with rocks and memories/ I tell myself one little lie and the pain don’t phase me" during the chorus.

The new song follows "Thanks, I Hate It" and "Special," which are both featured on the upcoming EP. With three of the six tracks already out in the world, we have a good idea of what to expect from the Trash Pop duo's latest project.
