Shocking new details have emerged regarding the death of ex-My Chemical Romance drummer Bill Bryar.
As TMZ reports, three large nitrous oxide canisters were found next to Bryar's body in his Tennessee home. The Bedford County Medical Examiner noted the finding in an autopsy report, and also pointed out that there were antidepressants found in the home. There was also tubing for the canisters, which means they were ready for use. Even though the medical examiner did not explicitly say the substances contributed to the musician's death, they did raise concerns about an accidental or intentional overdose being the cause. Unfortunately, his body was so badly decomposed by the time it was discovered that an official cause of death can not be determined.
The drummer was found dead inside his home on November 26 and was last seen alive on November 4. He was 44 years old.
Bryar joined the MCR lineup in 2004, replacing Matt Pelisser after the release of Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. He was featured on their iconic 2006 album The Black Parade and also helped write their last album, 2010's Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, but left the band before its release.
The band shared a tribute to Bryar following the news of his passing, and guitarist Frank Iero honored him with an emotional message.
