UNO! One of America's favorite card games can now, for the first time ever, be played by blind and seeing impaired players. In Partnership with The National Federation for the Blind and the popular TV show The Voice, Mattel recently produced a braille version of the card game. For those of you unfamiliar with the game, I found this description of UNO on the interwebs:
The idea of the game is to get to your last card, shout “UNO!” before another player realizes you didn’t, and then attempt to play your last card on your turn to win the round. The player to use up his or her last card wins the round and is scored based on the cards left in their opponent’s hand.
The braille version of UNO is sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide.
