COhatch was born out of Matt’s desire to merge good business and high impact across the towns, cities, and communities that need it most. Matt finds joy in developing innovative brands and business models that also sustainably support the communities he lives and serves in. Along with COhatch, Matt has been successful at developing several other successful social brands.
Prior to COhatch, Matt was a VP of Business Excellence for Velocys (a renewable fuels and stranded gas technology company out of the UK), ran a large Business Unit for Parker Hannifin, designed and implemented new manufacturing plants for Honda, and was a consultant for Arthur Andersen.
Matt has his B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University, an MBA from Ohio State, a six-sigma blackbelt, and several other operational excellence certifications. But most importantly, Matt was COhatch’s first community orchestrator that created a now 30+ location ecosystem that supports local entrepreneurs, startups, nonprofits, freelancers, and more.
