Luxury $12,000 Music Fest Turns Into A Disaster

With so many music festivals happening there's nothing wrong with a luxury music festival for people who really don't mind spending large amounts of money, right?

I mean the Fyre Music Festival sounds pretty nice.

Consequence Of Sound described it the way the festival made it seem: "a boutique, luxury music festival taking place in Exumas, Bahamas. Tickets to the festival ran between $4,000 and $12,000, with the price of admission including a chartered flight from Miami, private villas to sleep in, yacht rides with gorgeous models, and performances from the likes of G.O.O.D. Music, Major Lazer, Blink-182, Disclosure, and more."

I would totally be down for that...but after hearing what actually went down, you can count me out. I think the festival organizers (which include hip-hop artist Ja-Rule) may have bit off more than they could chew. What really happened was an absolute disaster!

How so? According to various people who shelled out the money to go, they arrived to complete chaos. This included trash all over, awful looking tents, horrible looking food, a complete lack of staff, luggage thrown, feral dogs running loose, canceled flights, and all kinds of madness.

Well, at least the people get to see Blink-182, right? Wrong! Even the band canceled their performance releasing the statement: “We’re not confident that we would have what we need to give you the quality of performances we always give fans."

Wow. This sounds absolutely awful. What went wrong here? I hope people get their money back! Check out pictures/videos of the craziness:
