Jack White To Release Children's Book Inspired By The White Stripes

Miss The White Stripes?

Well while the band isn't set to return anytime soon, their music is...sorta! How so? In the form of a children's book written by Jack White!

YUP! It has been revealed that in November White will release a new book for kids called We’re Going To Be Friends, and it's inspired by the song of the same title!

It will be illustrated by Elinor Blake who has done animation for TV shows like Ren & Stimpy and Pee-Wee's Playhouse!

"We’re Going To Be Friends charts the adventures of Suzy Lee and her friend – characters that also appear in the song. It will be available from November 7 via Third Man Books and will come with a download of ‘We’re Going To Be Friends’ as well as cover versions by Woodstation Elementary School Singers and April March, aka Blake."
