How do you memorialize one of the best voices we've ever had in music? Well, in the case of Chris Cornell they worked really hard to make a full size statue of him.
While we've seen previews of what it would look like, last night was the unveiling of the statue in Chris's home of Seattle at the Museum of Pop Culture.
Cornell's family and friends, including members of Soundgarden, were there for the big reveal! While often times these statues end up looking a little creepy and not as planned, I think this one really turned out great. A lot of detail went into this, as his wife Vicky was the one behind it.
Check out some pictures and videos of the unveiling, and if you're in Seattle make sure to stop by the museum as this will be on display for the public to see.
