Church Uses Twenty One Pilots Songs In Sermons

I've always said my favorite religion is music...and in this case it's kinda true!

Yup, a Christian church in Texas has started preaching in a little bit of a different way: through the music of Twenty One Pilots!

I mean big fans of the band know that the duo has always held strong to their religious beliefs and now WoodsEdge Community Church have found ways to tie their songs into gospel.

Pastor Justin Ulmer has a specific sermon that examines the lyrics of TOP songs.

“What sets Josh & Tyler apart from other bands is that they meet their audience where they are, as they are, and they let them know: ‘We get you. We care about you,’” the church’s website says. “And once their audience feels loved by them, they can slowly challenge them to consider a new way of thinking, a new way of feeling, and a new way of living.”

That's definitely true!

Check out the church teaching through the band's track "Nico And The Niners" off latest album "Trench."
