The Killers Pay Tribute To Luke Perry

The world is still mourning actor Luke Perry, who passed away yesterday with many celebrity friends of his weighing in. One big tribute is coming from the alternative world from The Killers.

While at first it would seem like a bit of an unlikely source, it's not at all. See, the band worked very closely with Perry on a music video. Perry was the star of the band's video for their Christmas track ”¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!’ In the video, released in 2009, Perry played a cowboy wandering desert.

The band took to social media with a clip from the video saying: “So sad to lose Luke Perry. He did an amazing job in “¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!” for no compensation, because all went to charity. An honor to have him in the video. He will be greatly missed.”

From what everyone has been saying, The Killers included, he really seemed like a great guy.
